Short Term Planning Engineer

As a **Short Term** **Planning Engineer**, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our daily and long-term flight operations. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our fleet’s performance, coordinating with maintenance bases, and driving efficiency through engineering planning. Your contributions will directly impact the operational performance of our fleet and the success of Volotea.

**How will it be to work with us?**:
**Daily operations & task coordination** - Plan daily work packages and coordinate with maintenance bases to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

**Fleet performance optimization** - Control and manage deferred defects, ensuring timely rectification to maintain optimal fleet performance and minimize operational disruptions.

**Collaboration with teams** - Work closely with the logistics, maintenance, and flight operations teams to ensure smooth coordination and that all materials and resources are available as needed.

**Scheduling modifications & bulletins** - Ensure timely scheduling and control of modification and inspection bulletins to comply with safety regulations and maintain fleet readiness.

**Tail assignment & maintenance planning** - Assign aircraft tails in AIMS according to the maintenance schedule and ensure all aircraft are ready for operations.

***Ready to join us?**:
**What will make you succeed in this position**:

- ** Degree in Aeronautical Engineering** - Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, or similar technical field.
- ** Experience** - Previous experience in Short Term Planning Department or related tasks within an airline.
- ** Organizational Skills** - A highly organized, responsible individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
- ** Problem-Solving & Coordination** - A quick learner with an analytical, process-focused mind and the ability to proactively solve problems.
- ** Advanced MS Office skills** - Especially Excel, to manage and analyze data effectively.
- ** Software Knowledge** - Experience with **AMOS** and **AIMS** systems is a plus.
- ** Regulatory Knowledge** - Knowledge of **EASA regulations (Part M, Part 145)**, **EWIS**, and **Fuel Tank Safety** would be a strong asset.
- ** Languages** - Fluency in **English** and **Spanish** is mandatory; **Italian** and **French** would be highly valued.
- ** Availability** - Willingness to work **rotating shifts**, including weekends and bank holidays.
