**Who You Are**:
As a Senior International Expansion Manager, you will play a critical role in growing Justworks' global footprint by managing the end-to-end international expansion processes from zero to launch across new markets around the world. You will also contribute to refining, enhancing, and continuously solidifying our international capabilities and infrastructure as we grow in new and existing markets.

**What You Will Work On**:
- Work with International leadership and Expansion team to execute on our international expansion strategy/roadmap and successfully expand our capabilities in global markets
- Manage the process of creating fully-functioning local entities in new to Justworks markets within tight deadlines, and manage internal and external timelines and blockers to get there successfully
- Ensure seamless delivery of country launches; create and execute a clear and comprehensive transition plan with all relevant stakeholders in International - Operations, Product & Engineering, and Sales
- Iteratively strengthen and optimize our infrastructure in post-launch markets, identifying and implementing improvements as needed
- Contribute to the development and implementation of scalable and repeatable models for efficient expansion into new countries; identify areas of operational improvement, and create newly standardized processes that can be implemented across the broader expansion and international teams
- Support leadership with developing a clear view on our path forward in each market by understanding key nuances and characteristics of each country; identify potential roadblocks for new country launches (in advance), communicate potential risks, and recommend solutions and or work-arounds
- Collaborate closely with internal and external Legal teams to navigate legal requirements and support successful launches from a compliance perspective
- Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key vendors in each country, including legal counsel, payroll, accounting/tax, immigration, and others
- Meet or exceed tight deadlines for incorporation and launches through careful planning and process management; effectively manage multiple workstreams in multiple countries at the same time
- Stay up-to-date with country-specific trends, best practices, and regulatory changes; disseminate this knowledge internally
- Mentor and guide new team members, setting a high standard of excellence and leading by example
- Perform other related duties as needed based on department and/or organizational needs
