At Global Alumni, the first Euro-American EdTech, we have successfully broken down physical and language barriers, bringing knowledge and prestige from some of the world’s best universities to any professional in a digital, globalized and ever-changing environment.
As education shifts into online and hybrid formats, we are aligned with universities’ need to create and develop digital content for their postgraduate courses. We also offer higher education institutions marketing services for these programs, from strategic planning and the design of campaigns to their effective launching on all relevant digital platforms. Our marketing efforts are targeted to a multicultural audience that spans across six different languages.
Global Alumni is rapidly expanding and in order to meet our growing objectives, we need to incorporate English Editors into our Content Creation Department.
**Responsibilities/Tasks**
- Carry out quality control and the editing of texts for the American universities we work with.
- In addition to this, we are looking for individuals who can manage deadlines and deliveries, all of this while providing support to various teams and departments.
- Planning, coordinating, reviewing and editing content at a high quality.
- Correcting style and typos.
- Academic and postgraduate training content writing.
- Content curation, to reach quality standards within our digital ecosystems.
- Reviewing and optimization of translations to English.
- Cultural adaptation of the content.
- Coordination with other teams in a transversal manner.
- Support to the Content Creation Department.
- Reports to the Head of Department.
- Provide alternative solutions by bringing new ideas.

**Requirements**:
- Degree in English, Journalism, Translation and Interpretation or similar (e.g., Humanities degrees).
- Essential: Native level of English (American).
- At least an upper-intermediate level in Spanish.
- At least 5 years’ experience in editing and quality control of texts.
- We value a master’s degree in editing or similar.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes.
- Understanding the needs of the universities, professors and students from the different international markets.
- Manage deadlines and deliveries, all of this while providing support to various teams and departments.
