**What you will do**:
The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Database System Engineer in the Data Experience team you will be in charge of:

- Be the link between data infrastructure, architecture and development teams.
- Define the procedures to operate within the database including the creation of the required automations and tools.
- Guarantee the necessary data resources are assigned for the optimal project development.
- Ensure the implemented solution is effective, efficient, consistent, and maintainable from a global data perspective.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner, ensuring mínimal impact on production systems.
- Support developers on database access and operation (security, automation, good practices, etc.)

- At least 5 years working in critical DB environments
- DataOps mindset
- Solid experience in PostgreSQL
- Other DB technologies will be a plus: Oracle, MySQL
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Cloud based solutions. Google Cloud Platform will be a plus
- Exposure to the implementation of CI/CD automation tools: Jenkins, Gitlab
- Hand-on experience with automation tools (ansible, phyton) and orchestrators (kubernetes)
- Good communication skills (constant relationship with developers, IT teams, architects and other stakeholders)
- Culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
- Technical English

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants.
- Experimentation Mindset: Curiosity and eagerness to explore, experiment with, and integrate emerging AI-driven solutions into software development workflows.
- AI-Enhanced Problem Solving: Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to debug code, streamline development processes, and enhance productivity.
- Adaptability and Learning Agility: Enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features and capabilities.
- Collaboration with AI: Experience or interest in collaborating closely with AI tools as “pair programmers” to complement traditional software development practices.
