**About the job**

**VMWARE Administrator **100% Remote - Spain
- As VMWARE Administrator you would be in charge of administering and troubleshooting. You will ensure these are built with the best practices in mind and coordinate with the rest of the team working on other layers of the same infrastructure. Excellent communication skills will be required to coordinate work accords multiple teams to resolve issues. You will bring your experience, creativity and innovation to the table to deliver class leading solutions. You will work in a challenging agile environment with many other like-minded passionate and creative individuals in and across the teams in the project.
- 10+ years of core proven experience into implementing, administering and troubleshooting the complex Windows, VMware and Active Directory environment.
- Microsoft Certification (Az-104, AZ-303/304 or AZ-305) or equivalent certification / experience in relevant programs desired
- Good Knowledge of Windows operating systems which includes Installation, Upgrade and Migration from end of life OS to latest version.
- Strong knowledge of Group Policy design and configuration, Domain Controller Sites & Services, Replication topology.
- Extensive experience with virtualization platforms (VMware preferred, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Advanced understanding of virtualization concepts and functional working skills with various virtualization technologies (create/modify virtual machines, create storage groups, snapshot, clone/export, HA, DRS, Admission control etc.)
- Extensive experience with patching virtual infrastructure (ESXi hosts, virtual appliances)
- Provided level 2 & 3 support and actively involved in the day to day administration of the Virtual Infrastructure
- Knowledge of Basic networking.
- Scripting (PowerShell preferred) knowledge will be an added advantage
- VMware NSX knowledge will added advantage
- Knowledge of Veeam Backup & Replication will be an added advantage
- Someone capable of responding to a fast paced environment and able to work long days and hours
- Ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language for end users.
- Very good understanding of File Permissions, ACL
- Very Good understanding of Active Directory Domain Services & Azure Active Directory including Tier 0 environment
- Are not afraid of expressing yourself in English. We aren't expecting you to have the Queen's accent, but you'll be part of an international team and we communicate in English, so you should be comfortable with that.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information System, Telecom or 3+ years equivalent experience in an engineering role.
