Position Summary
Join CEVA Air & Ocean Spain, Sociedad Anonima as a Forwarding Management Professional Iberia within our Operations division, based in Valencia on Av. Aragón. This pivotal role in the Project Management organisational unit offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the success and efficiency of our Logistics - Project Logistics activities across the Iberian Peninsula. The role is fundamental in ensuring seamless forwarding operations and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage international forwarding projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective transport of goods across various modes of transportation.
Collaborate closely with internal teams including sales, customs, warehouse, and finance to optimise logistics processes and customer satisfaction.
Oversee documentation and regulatory compliance, including customs clearance and adherence to transport regulations relevant to the Iberian region.
Identify and manage operational risks associated with forwarding and project logistics, implementing mitigation plans to maintain service excellence.
Build and nurture relationships with external partners such as carriers, freight forwarders, and subcontractors to secure reliable and competitive services.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to forwarding activities, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Support business development activities by providing expert advice on forwarding capabilities and logistics solutions tailored to customer requirements. Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience in forwarding management or project logistics, preferably within the Iberian market.
Strong understanding of international logistics practices, transportation regulations, and forwarding operations.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and communicate effectively at all levels.
Proficiency in relevant logistic management software and digital tools to enhance operational efficiency.
