We are currently recruiting for a **Ground and Tunnelling Engineer** to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of Projects, either as standalone bridge commissions or as part of multidisciplinary major projects. ** Here is what you will do**:
- Works as part of a ground and tunnelling engineering team with other engineers at the same functional level that can be from different EC offices (Poland, Spain, India..).
- Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
- Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
- Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
- Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.
- Identifies discrepancies in results.
- Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
- Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design
- elements for engineering works.
- Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position.
**Qualifications**:
** Here's what we're looking for**:
- Proven track record of working on ground and tunneling engineering designs and collaborating with international and multi-cultural teams (+7 years) for Transportation and Water Projects.
- Experience with international regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in the use of specific ground engineering and tunnelling software as Geoestudio / Plaxis (2D/3D) / Rocscience. Others as SAP2000, STAAD Pro, etc. will be considered favorably.
- Experience in the design of C&C tunnels and shafts
- Proven commitment with Quality Control Policy and Quality Management System.
- Experience working in the North America region / Australia will be considered favorably.
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University
- US and/or Australia Professional Engineer license will be considered favorably
