**Job Description Summary**:
The HR Partner Hydro Spain-Portugal & Global Engineering reports to the EMEA HR Director, and provides HR leadership to the GE Renewable Energy Hydro teams located in Abanto-Zierbena (Bilbao), Spain and our team in Portugal. The Hydro Spain and Portugal organization contains a high proportion of Services resources, together with Engineering, Global Supply Chain, and other Functional teams.
- The HR Partner Hydro Spain & Portugal demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role the job holder will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization.
- The HR Partner provide business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching to all levels of the organization.
- Oversee collective bargaining agreements and additional rules and regulations as necessary to keep the company update.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding processes and ensure all the legal requirements are met.
- Maintain relationship with Works Council and implement local legislation projects (Equality Plan and Salary Registry).
- Overseeing recruitment efforts.
- First point of contact for people leaders and employees, providing leadership, coaching and support for individual needs & HR processes.
- Partner with people leaders to define and implement people solutions and processes to effectively utilise resources and improve organisational capabilities
- Lead the planning, management and delivery of people related projects to instigate and deliver business change, for Hydro Spain & Portugal.
- Coach and upskill leaders, helping them to build effective employee engagement plans.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring cases are dealt with in a timely manner and in line with Company Policy and relevant employment law.
- Engage with Hydro & Renewable Energy teams to deliver training and support for functional processes such as People, Performance & Growth (PPG) and salary planning.
- Undertake HR administration activities for client group as necessary, provide guidance to people leaders on Workday process issues.
