The Role:

- Monitor performance and development needs of the sales team
- Review sales calls to identify performance improvement needs
- Curate development plans aligned to individual associate needs
- Coach associates to develop and motivate salespeople
- Partner with sales leaders on associate coaching/training/performance needs
- Provide recommendations to larger Sales Enablement team for ongoing training needs
- Develop a relationship with the sales team that makes it easy to communicate their ideas and issues they are facing
- Capture best practices from consistently high performers and KPI outliers to distribute to larger sales audience
- Seek out and deploy continuous improvement opportunities based on program evaluations, leadership feedback, and coaching best practices
- Provide thought leadership on trends in B2B sales

What You'll Do:

- Run and monitor sales contests
- Maintain a dashboard of development needs and associate progress
- Other obligations/responsibilities as needed

What You'll Bring:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify trends in associate behavior and clearly communicate observable behavior traits and areas of improvement
- Knowledge of and experience with coaching models/best practices to establish and maintain credible coaching relationships
- Ability to guide, engage, and impart knowledge to others
- Skilled in helping individuals identify goals, develop realistic action plans, seek development opportunities, and monitor progress and accountability
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Success working with cross functional teams
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in excel
- Experience navigating sales prospecting and CRM tools
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Three (3) years or more successful Inside Sales experience
- 1-3 years as a sales leader, team leader or performance coach
