The Business Analytics team uses our own Celonis software to do data analytics globally for the entire Go To Market organization. This situates the team in an advantageous position, bridging the gap between business operations, technical solution development, and product development as power users of our own Software. **The Role**:
As an Intern Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping analytics and data products that drive strategic decision-making, business performance and optimization across multiple internal business units. You will work hands-on with new product features, sometimes even before they are publicly released, and help push the boundaries of data analytics capabilities to create valuable and impactful solutions.

**The work you'll do**:

- Gather, process, and analyze business data using company technology, ensuring data is structured to support business goals, needs, and opportunities.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data quality checks, validation processes, troubleshooting and enhancements to maintain reliable datasets.
- Integrate multiple data sources into our Celonis platform using Python and API calls to develop a technical solution that enhances the business development team's visibility and performance through a purpose-built tool in our platform.
- Build actionable insights and recommendations to drive better business outcomes.
- Enable the team to effectively use the tool by bridging the gap between data metrics and business meaning, ensuring informed decision-making.
- Participate in internal initiatives aimed at enhancing data ingestion, data quality, model development, tool creation, and the development of enablement materials and documentation. These collaborations will focus on optimizing data solutions to increase their efficiency, effectiveness, and overall value for the organization.

**The qualifications you need**:

- On going studies in Data Science, Engineering, Big Data /Business Analytics or a comparable technical degree program with outstanding performance.
- Proficient in utilizing SQL, Python, and/or BI tools for data analysis and visualization
- Experience in working with data ingestion, data transformations, databases and data visualizations is a plus
- Working experience in the enterprise software industry is a plus
- Think analytically, work in a structured manner, and quickly comprehend new topics and complex interrelationships to present and explain them to our stakeholders in a reliable and independent manner.
- Possesses a strong intrinsic motivation to take ownership of tasks and a proactive approach to managing responsibilities, demonstrating the ability to identify key priorities and follow through with determination. Exhibits the potential to prioritize their workload and take accountability for their contributions.
- Have very good knowledge of spoken and written English (German and/or Spanish are a plus)
