**Job Description**:
**As LIMS Integration Service Expert, you will be part of the Digital Lab IT Delivery Team with the following key responsibilities**:

- ** Requirements and Solutions design**:Responsible for receiving the business requirements and document it, complete and “SMART”; for coordinating the review and approval of those requirements; and for the design, description, and management of all interfaces connecting /interacting with the LIMS System (Laboratory Information Management Solution), for example such as Oracle BOSS, Power BI
- ** Support**:Responsible for reviewing all information received from user and replicate it into lower environments. Analyze the test-cases with all entities related and reply to user with some valuable information.
- ** Governance**:Engage Business Stakeholders, Project Leads, Developers, Operations and Architects in a cross functional environment to ensure Global Integration Services design is aligned with Business strategy and that the functional and non-functional requirements of the processes built or released by the Software Vendor are fit for purpose and meet the Business and IT needs.

**Specifically, you will**:

- Receive, review requirements from the Business or Operations.
- Consult with IT Business and LIMS Integration Team representatives to ensure understanding of requirements and their alignment to future the strategic direction of the business/function._. _
- Ensure the requirements are documented, complete and SMART.
- Translate those business requirements into specific Integration services
- Collaborate with implementation teams in respect to the deployment plan that will deliver the approved solution.
- Provide Testing documentation related to the assigned functional processes.
- Find the best solution among all possible to solve the existing business problems taking into account existing constraints (such as time, cost, risk, resources).
- Present the found solution(s) and recommendation to the Stakeholders to ensure it fits the requirements and then to the CAB or other relevant governance bodies for approval to implement the recommended solution.
- Create the scenario with the solution prototype when needed
- Follow-up the testing and implementation of the solution, liaising with the implementation team, to ensure it meets the solution designed, until its go-live.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to optimize integrations.
- Facilitate and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) activities when needed.
- Provide initial post Go-Live (hypercare) support related with integration services when needed.
- Document maintenance - Update best practices & governance documentation.

**Qualifications**:

- IT/Computer Science academical background
- Around 8 years experience in implementing/supporting Global Systems interacting with other Financial systems as web services using SOAP, REST
- In-depth knowledge of supported Business Processes and how they should be implemented using the underlying technology while following industry best practices.
- Able to read the logic behind any coding lenguage.
- Good knowledge of LIMS Business Integration Services
- International experience and practical business experience.
- Experience in working at senior management level.

**This position will be based at our office in Madrid.**
