Retail Merchandising Assistant
- Barcelona, ES, 08430- Full Time***:

- We are looking for an experienced Retail Merchandising Assistant to present a high and consistent standard of all the visual and floor displays within the Village working effectively with the local teams, with the overall aim of maximising guest interest and sales at the Village. Working to and in support of the Visual Merchandising Manager.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To guide and support the stores and retail team with creative solutions in visual merchandising and presentation by:
- Always keeping an eye on how visual presentation affects turnover.
- Acting as the key liaison and contact person for any creative goals or actions in the mall boutiques, both in-store and in the window displays.
- Help guide the Village team on the creative direction of the season, making sure that the flow of communication between departments is clear
- Supporting any merchandising action or installation requested by the Retail Manager or Director.
- Where required, participating in retail and marketing calls to coordinate any special event in the Village and to check in with teams.
- Liaise with the appropriate teams in the Village with the distribution of props, signage and display.
- Be responsible for prop storage and delivery of campaign assets and props to stores for seasonal changes.
- Ensuring that the retail team has detailed feedback on their stores and submitting a weekly report on improvements to be made.
- Submit a weekly report about elements that need to be followed as well as the stock in the Village, the merchandise and the staff
- Work in the village on window merchandising and in-store merchandising for a better appeal and product presentation
- Search for new tendencies and inspiration to make our VR visual message stronger to the consumer
- Continue the positive relationship as support to all VR departments
- Assist trade show inspiration fairs and visit high street shops and follow up by reports
- Providing the Retail and Group Merchandising Directors with thorough sales analysis.
- Assisting in preparing cross over brands analysis, sharing ideas and successes.
- Assisting the VM department on projects where needed.
- Taking an overall view of the Village retail and marketing calendar and coordinating proactive action accordingly.
- Ensuring signage is coherent and developing new ideas.
- Assist in developing and delivering training seminars, guideline booklets on better merchandising, to aide and guide stores for their specific needs and to get their focus on how good visual presentation can affect turnover. This should include:

- o Working with the retail and VM teams for clear objective of the training- o Establish practical workshops in the boutique to strengthen our VM message- o Help make training easy, fun, interactive and easy to comprehend- o Seasonal updates with teams and stores alike on trends, tips, and tricks and our VR seasonal campaign voice and objectives- o Be open to ideas and challenges as the business evolves and grows along the needs of each store- o Work closely with all Village Departments and the VM team on any seasonal decorative scheme in the Village. This includes installation of Christmas.- o Have overall view of each Villages retail/marketing calendars in order to be more pro-active in the merchandising action with the stores- o Always searching for better suppliers, better prices and better products**BACKGROUND AND SKILLS**:
