**Mission**:
As a **Data Engineer** at Fluidra, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and efficient data solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure the availability, quality, and usability of enterprise data.

Your contributions will help implement Fluidra’s data strategy by building robust data pipelines, automating data workflows, and ensuring data integrity throughout the data lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation and a passion for continuous learning in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ensuring performance optimization and scalability across data workflows.
- Implement data transformations using dbt, following best practices for modularity, testing, and documentation.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation, testing, and comprehensive documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering processes and promote task automation to enhance efficiency and reliability.

**To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science).
- At least 3 years of experience contributing to enterprise-wide data initiatives, including data governance frameworks and the implementation of scalable data solutions.
- Solid experience with relational databases and cloud data warehouses, especially Snowflake.
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, performance tuning, and data manipulation.
- Experience building scalable data pipelines and working with large, fragmented, or semi/unstructured datasets.
- Hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools such as dbt and Snowflake.
- Valuable: familiarity with scripting or procedural query languages such as PL/SQL, T-SQL or Python.

**Preferred Skills**
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (e.g., analysts, data scientists, domain experts).
- Deep understanding of data foundation principles: data modeling (e.g., star/snowflake schemas), governance, quality, and maturity assessments.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and scalable data solutions.
- Focus on implementation efficiency and value delivery through automation, standardization, and best practices.
