The aim of Ferrovial Corporation is to design the Company’s strategy, establishing global policies, guidelines and action guides related to the different functional areas of the Organization (Internal Audit, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, IT, Innovation, etc.), which subsequently are developed and adapted to the specificities of each Business Unit. Additionally, it performs a function of providing corporate services to the different companies of the group, while consolidating its information.

**The role**:
We are looking for our new energy business in Madrid a head of Health & Safety, who will report to the Health and Safety Director of the Corporate Division.

**Main Functions**:

- Responsible for the implementation of the measures and commitments adopted by the Company in the construction and operation stages.
- Representing, reviewing, and coordinating requests from the Authority or other stakeholders in matters related to quality, health & safety and the environment.
- Review and follow-up of all the background information on health and safety required by both own and subcontracted personnel.
- Compilation and elaboration of the H&S program applicable to the different activities of the company.
- Coordination of all quality, health & safety and environmental activities with personnel on the ground and the completion of the subsequent report.
- Management of all H&S plans elaborated by on site contractors and subcontractors during the construction of the projects to ensure a safe environment and the zero accidents policy of the company.
- Carry out on-site audits of assets and subcontracts.

**Requirements and skills**:
In addition, to perform this job successfully, the individual must have the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to fulfill those duties.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (civil, industrial, environmental, forestry, or similar), with training in labor force risk prevention. C1 level of English. Other languages will be also valuable.
- High level of English and Spanish is a must. Other languages will be also valuable.
- Proven experience in the construction, infrastructure, oil and gas or similar sectors is required.
- Experience of at least 7 years carrying out the management and administration of environmental procedures, preferably in international projects.
- we are looking for a person experienced in the coordination of internal and external resources in large organizations, with strategic vision and ability to influence in complex environments.
- Knowledge of the structures, operation and regulations regarding quality, environment, and safety for transmission assets.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, strategic vision, push to make things happen and hunger to succeed.
- Must be able to multitask, problem solving, and implement innovative processes within a fast-paced environment.
