PTC is looking for a driven, enthusiastic and competitive individual to join our EMEA based Virtual Center of Excellence (VCoE) team. Focus will be on building and leading the Virtual Center of Excellence team based in Barcelona, Spain.
Your priority will be to coach and empower your team, providing guidance on all aspects of the sales process and best practices, building pipeline and driving qualified opportunities for the sales organization.
**Day-To-Day**:
- Recruit, coach, mentor, and motivate a team of Solutions Consultants to deliver technical demonstration in support of sales and customer success organizations
- Ensure team readiness to support sales opportunities by managing topic certification schedules, leading professional skills development workshops, and leading certification sessions
- Identify and make recommendations for additional product/solution demonstration offerings aligned with sales goals to be delivered by the team
- Monitor team utilization by sellers and success managers, and coordinate requests with appropriate resources
- Identify and make recommendations to help improve productivity, efficiency, and process
- Conduct biweekly 1:1s with each team member, and drive career progression paths for Solutions Consultants
- Work with Technical Enablement to schedule and execute individual and team development plans on a regular basis
- Work closely with the global VCoE team to ensure consistent delivery within EMEA that is aligned with all geographies
**Preferred Skills and Knowledge**:
- Experience mentoring and developing individual performers in a technical software industry
- Understanding of sales process and best practices - preferably within a direct, B2B sales environment
- Understanding of technical demonstration delivery and value selling methodologies
- Experience with sales management and lead gen software tools (SFDC, Linked in, Zoom, etc)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and team management skills
- General skills: Motivating Others, Team building, Providing Feedback, Coaching, Self-Development, Self-Confidence, Orienting Employees, Dealing with Ambiguity, Customer Focus
**Basic Qualifications**:
- 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years’ experience working in a sales/technical sales role in the software industry
