My client is a consulting company based in Madrid, Spain with international clients, mostly in Germany. They are looking for an SAP BW/4HANA consultant to join them on a permanent basis, but with remote working as an option.
Desired profile:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW projects essential.
- Knowledge of classic modelling objects as well as new modelling models
- Knowledge of BW Modelling Tools and Query Designer for both versions
- Ability to analyse and model data flows based on transformations and DTPs, modelling process chains
- Exposure to BW-oriented programming, including ABAP, SQL and SQL Script
- Enjoy working in an international context for German automotive manufacturers
- A level of spoken and written English suitable for working in an international team is a must
- Knowledge of German would be highly valued
- Availability to travel sporadically
FUNCTIONS/DESCRIPTION:
- Joining a multidisciplinary team with DevOps orientation where you will assume roles of configuration, implementation and support of SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Data Warehouse Cloud functionalities.
- Customizing in the area of feature cut-over
- Analysis and correction of errors as well as planning of improvement measures
- Development of individual solutions to improve customer processes
- Execution of consulting services, preparation of evaluations and analyses in cooperation with the customer
- Consulting, designing and implementing BW-based solutions
- Support testing prior to the rollout of new versions (integration and functional testing)
- Communication with the customer and the geographically distributed team
- Handling of incidents and user-initiated requests
- Documentation of solutions to improve service quality
- Training and development in SAP Data Warehouse Cloud and BW Bridge
You do need to be based in Spain because you will sometimes be needed to visit the Madrid office... they cannot consider remote workers from other countries, unfortunately. If preferred your work can be done from the Madrid office.
