Working with a leading firm specialising in the M&E installation of state-of-the-art data centres.
**Job Description**:
Experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the team through the Back End of the installation and commissioning to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and close projects that meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Develop and manage the project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of the project team
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Oversee the installation of electrical systems
- Manage procurement and logistics for electrical components and systems.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement strategies for electrical design and project management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar qualification. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in data centre or similar critical facilities.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems
- Familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of strategic thinking.
