**Business Analyst TME**

**Description**:
As a Business Analyst, based in our Barcelona Office, you will form part of a dynamic team of professionals that work as a liaison between the front & the back office in order to improve the current operating systems. The Business Analyst TME is asked to analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes and information systems to ensure the company´s departments run smoothly.

To start, you will directly report to the Head of Underwriting Operations. The Business Analyst -TME is key to support the company’s objectives and standards.

**General responsibilities**:

- Support the Head of Underwriting Operations on the operational planning and execution.
- Regular reporting to the Head Underwriting Operations.
- Be an expert of all elements of the Policy administrative system (PAS) of the different European entities.
- Be a point of reference for any PAS system queries from different departments (Underwriting/ Finance/ Compliance/ Claims/ Operations/TMK).
- Through collaboration with underwriting stakeholders and other operational heads to support on the strategic Target Operating Model.
- Anticipating and reporting problems, blockage points.
- Knowing how to value the impact of changes.
- Rich a good understanding of the different line of Business.
- Support on providing the necessary data info to transversal teams (catastrophic exposure team, reinsurance).

**Manage Data system**

- Be in charge of resolving bugs and making the necessary changes.
- Prioritise the TFS and Genius tickets to be included in the Waves/sprints.
- Participate on the writing of User stories.
- Follow-up on testing/Deployment.
- Communicate testing/deployment results to the parties involved.
- Ensuring post-production follow-up.
- Participate in the GUG (Genius User Group) w and follow up on the reports.
- Participate in working groups on current and future process improvements.
- Support the implementation of new tools.

**Reporting**
- Update existing reports and create new ones
- Develop activity management tools according to needs
- Ensure that Genius/SBS data is correctly sent and reflected in reports (DHW, ERS)
- Ensure data reconciliation

**Training / Documentation / Communication**
- Develop training materials
- Provide initial training on data systems
- Update system documentation
- Facilitate workshops such as the Genius/Pega
- Have a fluid and efficient communication between the different Business Analyst/system users of the different entities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree
- Prior experience as a Business Analyst of 1 to 2 years will be a plus
- Fluent in English, any other language (preferably French/German) is an asset
- Preferably experience in/knowledge about the insurance sector
- Visio, Agile Frameworks (such as Jira/Visual Studio),
- Excellent written communication skills; advanced verbal communication skills
- Experience in business requirements analysis and documentation
- Experience in EVT, UAT, bugs and Wave planning and execution
- Experience in working with an Agile software methodology
