Position Purpose:
The R2R team lead is mainly responsible for supervising, guiding, and developing a team of highly motivated accountants to provide excellent management accounting services as well as reporting according to IFRS and local accounting principles for various countries. He is also a reference point of contact for several stakeholders like country finance directors, other streams (O2C/P2P/FP&A) as well as external partners like auditors and/or tax consultants.

Primary Responsibilities:

- People Management (evaluation/development) and staffing (recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training).
- Coordinating the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities including reporting of results.
- Review of the cost accounting process.
- Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation review.
- Review of VAT reports and declarations, support to the EU tax team.
- Lead internal & external audits by taking a coordination role, being first point of contact to auditors.
- Support the implementation of new accounting processes and tools.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- Contribute to projects for continuous improvement purposes with the R2R global delivery excellence team.

R2R Team Lead (with team leading experience)|PageGroup SSC
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration degree or equivalent with excellent accounting knowledge.
- Fluency in English (German is a plus).
- 5-8 years of experience within corporate finance (accounting, audit, etc.) with 2 years in leading teams.
- Big 4 audit experience is a plus.
- Adaptability, Accuracy, Pro-activity, Responsibility and Problem-solving skills.
