**WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?**
In our team you will lead the **GALILEO** project, which is the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) of Europe promoted by the EU. The SCCF is Galileo's Spacecraft Control Constellation Facility, which is the key ground-based system for satellite monitoring and control. As such, it is an extremely complex and critical system at the heart of Galileo's operations.
As main tasks you will **interface** with the Technical responsible of his/her team to discuss and agree on the split of functional requirements into manageable tasks for the development team, you will **coordinate **daily the tasks assigned to the development team, you will **define and elaborate** detailed plan for their development team, according to the objectives flown down from the SCCF project team, **ensure** the correct implementation of the tasks, reviewing that the information provided by the developer is the expected one and enough for the AIV team to proceed with the verification of the functionality.
You will also be in charge of the **identification of programmatic risks** during the definition and development phases, providing suitable mitigation actions, **integrate the SW lifecycle **processes required by GSWS into the daily routine of the team, including the Cyber Security Guidelines for secure development, **technical/programmatic support **to the Project Manager in the elaboration of schedule, task **monitoring and coordination**, **elaboration of technical proposal **for change requests, etc, participate in project reviews and internal meetings.
**WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?**
We are looking for **experts in software project management processes, software lifecycle processes (traditional or modern), integration Validation and Verification processes, **with **background and interest in Attlasian tools: Jira, Confluence, DOORS.**
We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in standards associated with aerospace industry: ECSS, CCSDS, SLE, etc., GSWS, Cyber security guidelines for secure development.
