**Bingel **is the adaptive all-round platform for primary education where teachers and pupils are central. Bingel assists the teacher in achieving his or her main goal: getting the best learning outcomes for each pupil. Its different modules support the teacher not only by offering the best quality teaching materials, but also by offering a range of time-saving solutions on planning, preparing, coaching and assessing. Pupils in Belgium, Finland, Sweden and the Netherlands love Bingel as their gamified learning platform for every-day use. Their personal avatar joins them while they’re learning and adapted practicing, with which they earn virtual money that can be used for buying avatar accessories or games.
**Responsibilities**:
As a Functional Analyst you will:
- investigate the needs and wants of the organization and the team and translate these into clear functional requirements and appropriate solutions.
- capture the requirements from PO understanding the needs of users and the product.
- work in a structured way with UML diagrams, reading and analyzing them.
- play a key role in the overall software development process by designing, defining and documenting functional and technical requirements.
- work with ticketing systems, receiving information about errors from production, managing them, and describing them for Product Owners, Managers and Development Teams.
- be a part of technical discussions with Development Teams.
You will work in an international pan-European team, as part of our Primary Education Product Engineering Center. Besides working, having fun and feeling good about yourself is incredibly important. We all contribute to that, every day. We understand each other and give feedback in order to grow as individuals and teams.
**Requirements**:
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a functional and technical analyst;
- Analytical mind, easily coming up with solutions, proactive;
- Practical knowledge/understanding of UML and ability to read UML diagrams;
- Ability to translate technical requirements and work with them;
- Experience working with ticketing systems, great communication skills with development teams or Service Managers;
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum / SAFe environment;
- Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written;
- Experience working with Jira/Confluence/Miro.
