The Group:
The High-Performance Power (HPP) group, as part of the Industrial and Multi-Markets (IMM) Business Unit, focuses primarily on the development of best-in-class Monolithic Synchronous Buck Regulators in terms of their high efficiency, low input quiescent current, low EMI, high switching frequency and high output current density. The overall portfolio comprises from single

The Position:
**Responsibilities**:
- Working within our HPP design teams based in our Munich (Germany) and San Jose (USA) sites.
- IC block design, transistor-level circuit design and simulation.
- Conducting technical presentations to ADI’s internal engineering team and customers.
- Using recommended design and verification techniques, tools & flows to produce efficient designs which meet all specified functional, power and timing objectives.
- Supporting other job functions such as layout, lab evaluation and test to ensure successful delivery meeting all requirements.
- Continuing to improve analog design methodologies consistent with the group’s wider business objectives to reduce time and cost to market.
**Requirements**:
- M.S. Electrical Engineering degree with 4+ years’ experience as an IC analog designer with focus on power products.
- Track record of successful product development.
- Design experience with mixed-signal circuits such as DACs, ADCs is an advantage.
- Inter-personal, teamwork and communication skills are required.
- Experience of integrating analog blocks in complex Mixed-Signal systems would be an advantage.
- Some limited travel should be expected.
- For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position - except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) - may have to go through an export licensing review process._
