Place in the organization

The Modern Workplace Support Engineer, is part of the End Users Computing services and reports to the IT Support Manager.

Purpose of the function

The Modern workplace Support Engineer, will also be part of local and Global IT projects.

Output areas
- Design and implement digital workplace solutions using tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other O365 apps.
- Support hybrid work environments, ensuring seamless access and collaboration across devices and locations.
- Integrate cloud technologies to enhance productivity, security, and scalability.
- Automate workflows and improve business processes using tools like Powershell and Power BI.
- Ensure compliance and security across digital workspaces, often working closely with IT security teams.
- Preparing and running changes and configuration management on IT systems
- Working together with other internal departments like the infrastructure Shared Service Center and external vendors.
- Strong understanding of both technology and business processes
- A mindset geared toward continuous improvement

**Qualifications**
- ICT related Bachelor level of knowledge, **focus on Microsoft technologies**, like **MS Office, Intune, Azure Active Directory, Windows OS,** Hardware settings, generic knowledge of Network,
- 3 - 4-year experience in a similar L2/L3 support function and having preferably Microsoft Certificates on the specific Microsoft products.
- Knowledge and experience in L2/L3 Workplace processes.
- Having good knowledge and experience with **PowerShell**.
- Communicatively both oral and written and service oriented
- Capacity to drive and implement technical projects with
- Be able to work independently using Unit4 policies
