The role of **Platform Product Owner** is to:

- Work alongside the Release Train Engineer (RTE), leading on Programme Increment (PI) planning and representing the Release train at required governance meetings
- Interface into the Product Development teams, to define their requested features, ensuring clarity on scope, acceptance criteria and quality for the development squads to then deliver
- Negotiate, manage and agree on demand, prioritize the backlog of new product development, enabling capabilities, innovation and lifecycle
- Provide technical leadership to the agile release train, owning high impact or complex technical risks and issues
- Ensure that the delivered solution meets the requirements and is aligned to Domain Architects vision
- Work with chapter leads to ensure sufficient resources, with appropriate skills is available and input to financial governance processes
- Maintain Platform road-map for assigned Product

This will require you to have a strong technology understanding of the Products (e.g. SD WAN) that are to be supported along with the technology used to deliver the VPBS Assurance & Orchestration Platform

**What you bring**:

- Product knowledge e.g. Mobile Private Network, SD-WAN, UC or IOT
- Detailed knowledge of resource management Platforms (Orchestration, Assurance, Inventory and reporting) to deliver automation and enhanced service monitoring
- Experience in design and deployment of Automation and resource management Platforms with knowledge in:

- Commercial orchestrators & service assurance platforms such as those provided by Ciena, Netcracker & Ericsson
- Open Source and Enterprise versions of components that support data collection, processing, reporting, visualization and automation such as: ELK; Syslog-ng, Prometheus; Grafana; Neo4j; Camunda; Ansible; ONAP and Kafka
- Key API protocols such as Netconf, REST & TMF
- Orchestration related scripting languages - TOSCA, HEAT
- Integration with domain controllers that deliver products such as VNF’s on uCPE and Public Cloud
- Cloud Computing and Infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Proven experience in technical delivery leadership of complex technology solutions
- Demonstrable experience of senior stakeholder engagement, effective at managing ambiguity and conflict resolution
- SW Architecture best practices and familiar with SW Development processes, management, and lifecycle (CI/CD)
- Agile/SAFE delivery methodology
