**The Institute**

The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. **The role**

We are looking for **two Laboratory Technicians** for the field of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). The technicians will work together with the other team members to provide various kind of NGS services to the users of the CRG Genomics Unit.

**About the lab**

**Whom would we like to hire?**

**Professional experience**

**Must Have**
- You have two years of relevant laboratory experience in molecular biology techniques

**Desirable but not required**
- You have previous hands-on experience with NGS library preparation
- You have experience with Agilent Bioanalyzer, Fragment Analyzer, TapeStation or similar equipment for DNA/RNA analysis
- You have experience with automated liquid handling systems
- You have previous hands-on experience with Illumina sequencing instruments

**Education and training**
- You hold a Formació Professional (FP), B.Sc., M.Sc., or PhD in molecular biology or a related field

**Languages**
- You are fluent in English

**Technical skills**
- You have hands-on experience with relevant molecular biology techniques (e.g. PCR; RT-PCR, qPCR, electrophoresis, DNA/RNA purification)
- You are familiar with MS Office

**Competences**
- You are able to work in a dynamic environment
- You have a flexible working attitude
