We are looking for **General Manager** for our **METT Hotel & Beach Resort Marbella-Estepona (Spain)** to lead the team and operations. This figure will be responsible for leading a hotel with 250 rooms, the expansion in the MICE segment, overseeing the construction and opening of new facilities, as well as leading the F&B offer (Isola, Ammos, Azure Beach and El Bar de Lola, including future openings) and continue to consolidate it as one of the most outstanding luxury hotels in the area.
**Main responsibilities**
- Responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel, to day-to-day staff management and guests, ensuring alignment with the brand’s high luxury standards.
- Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure full compliance to Hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures and service standards.
- Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan.
- Manage ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
- Management of P&L statements.
- Overseeing and managing all departments and working closely with department heads on a daily basis.
- Corporate client handling and take part in new client acquisition along with the sales team whenever required.
- Work closely with owners, Sunset Hotels executives and Sunset executives from functional areas.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of General Manager experience (preferably with international luxury hotels).
- Good understanding of the Marbella market and local hospitality landscape.
- Leadership and good communication skills.
- Experience with P&L.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (other languages such as German or French is a plus).
- Outstanding management skills and extensive hands-on experience.
- Experience in opening, managing or repositioning a hotel with a clear track record.
