Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.

**How you will CELLebrate**

As a Logistics Operational Officer, you are responsible for securing the inbound, in-house, and outbound logistics operations, all along the planning, construction, and series phases. In close collaboration with the planning departments, you will support the design and implementation of all necessary operational logistics workflows. Key areas of responsibility include inbound and outbound deliveries, together with the material supply and disposal processes within cell production facilities.
- Logistics process deployment, designing and implementing the ramp-up and series processes while adhering to quality and cleanliness standards.
- Operational oversight of the production supply across the entire process chain, including goods receipt, inbound storage operations, repacking process, material provision, waste management, and shipments execution.
- Ensure efficient supply chain operations for finished cells and empty packaging to/from customers and suppliers.
- Ensure the smooth in operations, controlling the continuous availability of empty packaging to/from customers and suppliers.
- Manage and control special transport requests outside regular operational hours.
- Resources optimization, including personnel, materials, and equipment while participating in budget planning and control systems.
- Act as the authorized shopfloor representative for dangerous goods safety management.
- Ensure that all logistics operations comply with quality specifications and safety regulations, enforcing occupational safety throughout logistics processes
- Train, supervise, and mentor employees, ensuring their compliance with policies and operational standards.
- Define work areas, set tasks and priorities, and monitor adherence to the guidelines.
- Promote health and well-being among team members.
- Supervise and guide trainees, fostering their professional growth.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance logistics operations quality and leading initiatives to optimize processes, systems, and workflows.
- Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.

**What you need for our CELLebration**
- Strong expertise in logistics operations and technologies, including AGV and ASRS systems.
- Solid knowledge of hazardous materials management and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in SAP and related logistics systems.
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on employee development and compliance monitoring.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for operational optimization.
- Degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- German language skills are considered an asset.
- Language: Fluency in English.
