**MISSION**

Evaluate the level of compliance of EDPr renewable power plants (wind, PV and storage) relative to Grid Code requirements at the different development phases in accordance with the Electrical and Control Technology Senior Manager, and the norms in force, to maximize the efficiency and guarantee an adequate technological risk management.

**MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Grid Code Compliance Transversal Activities
- Identify and assess Grid Code requirements in all the countries where EDPr is developing renewable power plants.
- Identify and assess Grid Code verification process in all the countries where EDPr is developing renewable power plants.
- Support technical meetings with TSO/DSO to clarify interpretation of requirements and conformity verification processes.
- Evaluate the grid code compliance capabilities of different equipment, such as wind turbines, PV inverters, storage and Power Plant Controllers.
- Participate in supplier (turbines, PV inverters, PPCs) technical due diligence relative to to Grid Code compliance.
- Define contract specifications for Grid Code verification services.
- Support the evaluation of companies which provide specialized services for certification, consulting, electrical studies and testing.
- Participate in meetings with representatives of the sector (eg AEE, Windeurope), in relation to the Grid Code.
- PROJECT SUPPORT
- Identify grid connection requirements specify in connection agreements and grid code requirements. Analyze if the connection agreement conditions are aligned with the grid code compliance regulations.
- Assess compliance with the grid code requirements by renewable power plants at any stage of the project. Identify the possible risks of non-compliance and propose measures to mitigate the detected risks.
- Evaluate/define, at a conceptual level, configurations of the plant control system that allow compliance with requirements.
- Evaluate and/or define the configuration of the Power Plant Controllers associated with a project that allow compliance with the Grid Code requirements.
- Evaluate simulation reports if required by Grid Code compliance processes.
- Carry out and/or verify test protocols necessary for the verification of requirements visiting the project site if need.
- Evaluate the results of the Grid Code tests.
- Evaluate the necessary documentation in the compliance process (certificates, electrical studies, etc.).
- Relationship with the certifiers of verification of compliance with requirements.

**REQUIREMENTS**

Qualifications:

- Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical specialty.
- Knowledge of wind and PV plants, with special focus on grid code compliance.
- Proficient in English.
- Postgraduate studies in Renewable energies.

- Walking: Ability to walk.5 to 1 km per day, including across unpaved and rough surfaces when on project sites, or manufacturing sites.
- Speech/Reading: Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
- Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
- Tolerance to Extreme Weather Conditions: Ability to work in adverse weather conditions 25% of the time while on project sites.
- Safety: Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary.
