**MISSION**:
The production planner is responsible for providing a detailed production scheduling in order to ensure the best service to the customers with appropriate level of inventory, optimum production efficiency and ensure availability of raw materials.

**FUNCTIONS**:

- Prepare and plan the production schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders
- Verify material availability of all components prior to releasing work orders to production
- Establish priorities for all assigned work centers and work closely with the production department to ensure adherence to priorities
- Collaborate and negotiate with commercial department priorities and lead times for customer orders
- Communicate to the supply chain all issues that will have a significant impact on the plant scheduling
- Provide continual improvement of the planning and reporting processes by means of recording and maintaining principal KPI’s

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- **Key Knowledge**: Advance office tools knowledge (Excel, Power Point), SAP (PP and MM modules)
- **Languages and level**: English (basic level)
- **Experience required (and time)**:Is not a must
- **Personal competences**:Planning and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Leadership and decision making ability. Team work oriented. Results oriented. Negotiation skills. Good problem solving skills and make quick decisions. People management. Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines. Good customer service/phone skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities. Demonstrate personal time management skills.
