**What impact you will have**

As Construction Procurement Officer, you will take ownership of procurement operations across Submer’s datacenter design and build projects. From sourcing high-performance equipment and materials to negotiating contracts and coordinating logistics, your work will ensure seamless execution, cost-efficiency, and alignment with project timelines.

You’ll collaborate closely with construction managers, engineers, logistics partners, and vendors to build a best-in-class procurement system tailored to our unique technology and project demands.

**What you’ll do**
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for construction-related goods and services across Submer’s build projects.
- Source qualified suppliers and contractors for structural, electrical, mechanical, and technology-related scopes.
- Prepare RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, and lead commercial negotiations in coordination with project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain procurement schedules aligned with project delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with cost, quality, and sustainability targets throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Monitor vendor performance, track deliveries, and manage supplier relationships to ensure accountability.
- Work closely with finance, engineering, and construction teams to optimize budgets and cost control.
- Support the implementation of digital procurement tools and platforms for streamlined operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, contracts, and procurement reports.

**What you’ll need**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in construction or infrastructure procurement (datacenter or high-tech project experience is a strong plus).
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, contracting strategies, and construction industry supply chains.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Experience with procurement tools.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Fluent in English and experience in a global environment is required
