You will join our Audit team in Barcelona and be part of our global Internal Audit department rated as one of the top 10% in our peer group.

Our mandate is to provide independent and objective assurance to the Zurich Boards of Directors and Audit Committees as well as to the Group CEO and Senior Management. To deliver this mandate, Group Audit works as a fully virtually integrated team, with a one-global-team mindset across the 19 countries where our teams are located. As an Auditor Intern you will assist in the execution of audit engagements, including activities such testing, performing data analysis as part of the audits, and documentation of audit results in line with Group Audit Standards, under appropriate supervision and guidance. You will also have the opportunity to interact with team members across the globe.

**Your role**

**As an Auditor **Intern** **your main responsibilities will involve**:

- Participation in day-to-day audit delivery process, including maintenance of audit documentation in the internal audit tool.
- Perform audit tasks, document audit tests and observations, contribute to the creation of audit reports in line with Group Audit standards.
- Report project status at regular intervals, as defined; in case of any risks / issues anticipated, highlight the same to relevant stakeholders.
- Helping to introduce new innovations and ideas to Group Audit
- Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations
- Tracking of audit status and potential issues

**Your Skills and Experience**

**As a Auditor Intern your skills and qualifications will ideally include**:

- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree student in a Business-related area: Economics, Accounting, Finance, etc. (completed minimum 4 semesters)
- Methodical, rigorous attention to detail and able to identify issues and solve problems
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Exhibits high professional and ethical behavior
- Hunger to learn and develop new skills, taking a proactive role in your day-to-day
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Data analytics tools is an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Fluent English in written and spoken English. Additional languages is an advantage.
