Well, WebCargo helps over 10,000 freight forwarding offices connect for instant pricing and booking with dozens of the world’s largest airlines and ocean liners. Think American Airlines, LATAM, British Airways and all the other airlines you see at the airport. No big deal but kinda a big deal, with hundreds of thousands of bookings every quarter. Oh, that “Part of Freighto” on our logo? Well, Freightos is the world’s largest global freight booking platform, has raised nearly $120 million from investors like the Singapore Exchange, Aleph, and logistics players, and have gotten the BBC, TechCrunch, and the Wall Street Journal excited about freight. We also love freight jokes but you can do that without $120 million dollars But driving a car without wheels is hard. So is running a growth startup without people. And not just anyone. We look for the best. The type of people that would leave Hogwarts Sorting Cap speechless. The type that you feel a need to release twelve white doves when they walk in the room. The type that when they get up, orchestra music plays in the background. It’s hard to find those people. Which is why our Human Resources team is recruiting a recruitment Intern (meta, right?) to on-board the best team, help us find the right people to change the outdated freight industry, and maybe impress us with their ability to (insert your weird skill here). **Roles & Responsibilities** - Coordinating the hiring process end-to-end, across interviews, phone calls and telegrams. - Create and publish job ads in various portals, websites and outlets. Maybe even LinkedIn. We’re told it’s kinda a big thing. - Develop and implement creative recruitment strategies including developing plans with external business partners such as university career centers, the Chicago Bulls (a guy can dream), and anything else that feels relevant. - Host and participate in job fairs. Which are kind of like circus fairsbut with fewer ferris wheels. - Pull out that laptop. And that cellphone. And Snapchat. You’ll need to develop and implement digital recruiting efforts on corporate homepage, proactive sourcing and social media recruiting. - Explores the market best practices in the recruitment and staffing and implement appropriate best practices and innovative approaches in the company. **Requirements**: **Basic requirements** - These internships work when we can work with schools. So ideally, you’re currently studying the last year of university or finishing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (focused on Organizational Psychology) or Labour Relations. WebCargo must be able to create an internship agreement with your Educational Center. We will make exceptions for students in their last year of Hogwarts but you must bring proof. - Oh Romeo...you don’t need to be Shakespeare but fluent English (written and verbal) will be necessary to communicate - You are outgoing and energetic and enjoy working with people from different cultures and backgrounds. - Great listening skills and ability to assess people’s background and motivations. You get people. - Excellent communicator, written and verbal, with high attention to detail and organization skills. - Ability to work independently and design/optimize work processes - Results-driven with a "can-do” attitude - Able to do at least 5h of internship per day during the intership period. - Interest in staying working at Webcargo after the internship period is over. - Open to listening to a series of periodic one hour presentations on why exactly the combination of Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan on the Chicago Bulls in 1992 made for an incredibly energetic and powerful offensive team. You can safely ignore this though. **Preferred requirements** - At least 6 months of experience being a recruitment specialist and managing ongoing recruiting cycles. - Experience recruiting via social networks and proactive sourcing. - Experience in global and start-up environments. - Experience in working with an ATS. And in opening up a new tab and Googling “ATS”. - Up to date knowledge of recruitment best practices and the ability to translate this into workable practice tools and processes. Or, the be honest, the ability to learn them. We get that you’re getting started. We’re here to do it with you. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
