Our two main objectives are the effective management of wealth and finances, encompassing tax-related aspects, and the promotion of a strong organizational structure that enables the family to receive services and make appropriate decisions. We seek to invest our wealth in impactful and/or philanthropic projects, thus contributing to initiatives that bring about significant changes and promote social and environmental well-being. **Purpose of the Position**: The Family Office is in an early stage of development, primarily focused on basic financial investments. The intention is to expand its focus towards impact investments and philanthropy. The key role of the Family Office Manager is to comprehensively structure the Family Office from scratch. This includes managing accounts, expenses, and defining a robust financial strategy. The Manager will also actively participate in the implementation of the financing strategy and in organizing accounting and tax information, collaborating with consultants on tax, legal, and financial management aspects. The vision is for this role to actively contribute to expanding the Family Office's focus towards impact investments and philanthropy. This will involve managing wealth, providing administrative support, and scouting new investments in impactful and/or philanthropic projects, with the goal of maximizing financial returns and maintaining asset stability. **Key Responsibilities**: - Structuring the Family Office "from scratch", establishing and organizing all the essential functions and components of a Family. In other words, it involves creating and designing the entire system, processes and infrastructure necessary to manage the financial, estate and administrative affairs of a family in a comprehensive manner. - Providing advice on financial, legal and estate planning matters. - Design investment strategies and capital preservation. - Value different types of financial investments and evaluate their profitability. - Analyze, evaluate and mitigate potential risks. - Work closely with consultants on tax, legal and financial management issues. - Calculate, monitor and manage financial investments and overall performance of family wealth. - Analyze profits, benefits, expenses and costs of the estate and associated businesses. - Provide financial and business management information to the family for the proper management of businesses and assets. - Ensure security and privacy of family data and wealth in general. **Requirements and competences to work with us**: **Education** - Degree in Finance, Economics or related fields. - An Executive MBA is a plus. **Experience** - More than 5 years of experience in the financial or investment field, with a background in related companies such as investment banking, wealth management, family office or investment funds. - Experience in leading projects as a wealth manager and in the creation of financing strategies. **Knowledge and Skills** - Extensive financial knowledge and experience in investment strategies. - Knowledge or strong interest in impact investing and philanthropic projects. - Basic understanding of the U.S. financial system. - Knowledge of the real estate sector. - Sensitivity towards Latin America. **Competencies** - Advanced level in Excel. - High level of English. **Desired** - Coming from the banking sector and/or the finance sector of the third sector. - Preferably familiar with the Latin American context and dynamics. - Preferably knowledgeable in accounting software. **Desired** - Willingness to travel when necessary/requested. **Our team profile**: - Energy, Initiative and Proactivity "to make things happen". - Outstanding interest in impact investing and philanthropic projects. - Strong communication skills and effective interaction with diverse stakeholders. - Strong organizational skills and have a process-oriented approach. - Outstanding analytical skills, results-oriented strategic thinking and high emotional intelligence. - Integrity - Consciousness - Trust **Key interests for working with us**: - Impact Investing - Philanthropy - Finance **Reasons to join our team**: - A flexible work environment with significant management independence, promoting initiative to enhance processes and procedures - Working in a family office focused on impact investing - Flexible schedule - Hybrid work (Working in the office two days a week)
