Inbonis is the leading European financial and non-financial rating agency specialising in SMEs and mid-caps. As a B-corp certified company, Inbonis' mission is to democratize access to ratings for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as mid-sized companies in order to allow them to diversify their sources of financing and thus promote their development.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Support process improvement and standardization initiatives for management data reporting.
- Maintenance and improvement of rating algorithms
- Organize, structure, and analyze large data sets and present information to support decision-making.
- Partner with various business owners to develop infrastructure cost efficiency methodologies.
- Facilitate the implementation of the new cost allocation methodology to financial systems based on business drivers.
- Partner with the Finance team to identify opportunities for automation of management data reporting.
- Determine how the key metric drivers will be calculated, owned, and tracked.
- Master’s degree (or Bachelor's degree + 1 or more years of experience) in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 1+ year of experience working as a data scientist or a similar role involving data extraction and analysis
- 1+ years of experience using data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages e.g. Python, or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, Matlab, Excel VBA coding, Qlik Sense, etc.) and AWS
- Experience articulating business questions and using quantitative techniques to arrive at a solution using available data.
- Design, creation, management, and business use of large datasets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and ability to self-direct, multitask, and prioritize.
