**About the role**

As the Merchandising Lead at albelli-Photobox Group, you will have a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our merchandising strategy to deliver a seamless customer experience across our platforms, brands, and markets. Your strategic mindset, data-driven approach, and passion for our products will enable you to drive value for our customers and the business. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will define the framework for our merchandising strategy, drive engagement across the organization, and optimize the customer journey. With a focus on simplification and scalability, you will mentor your team to prioritize opportunities and make trade-off decisions that align with our business goals.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Define the merchandising strategy for key customer segments across all platforms and devices, incorporating new vs. repeat customers and segmenting based on customer needs.
- Leverage customer insights and behavioral data to optimize the effectiveness of merchandising efforts.
- Collaborate with Central Planning to enhance sales and promotions effectiveness based on insights and learnings.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin optimization through cross-sell and up-sell strategies.
- Collaborate with key teams to identify and implement successful merchandising strategies across the group.
- Lead and develop a high-performing merchandising team, fostering a goal-oriented culture and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

- Drive the merchandising channel, ensuring a seamless customer experience and maximizing value for customers and the business.
- Utilize data and insights to continuously improve merchandising effectiveness and optimize customer journeys.
- Contribute to the overall success of the organization by identifying revenue opportunities and implementing cross-sell and up-sell strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize merchandising planning, processes, and results.
- Represent the merchandising channel in the central OKR (Objectives and Key Results) process, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.

**Experience and Attributes we’d like to see**:

- Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in pan-European/global eCommerce environments, with at least 3 years of experience directly managing teams and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of merchandising processes and best practices. Experience working in a multi-brand portfolio business.
- Expertise in digital merchandising, including strategy development, data utilization, and testing frameworks. Experience collaborating with product and tech teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proven success in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Track record of managing cross-functional projects within complex organizations.
- Strong execution skills, including problem-solving, prioritization, decision-making, and trade-off management.
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

**Nice to Have Experience**:

- Knowledge of the Dutch, German, French, or Spanish language would be advantageous.
- Understanding of the printing industry and manufacturing process.
- Experience working within the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) process.
