Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa, Mallorca is located on a cliff and surrounded by pine forests looking over the fishing town of Port Soller.

Its 121 spacious guestrooms and suites, all with private terrace or French balcony, enjoy stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea or views of the port and the impressive Tramuntana mountain range, a UNESCO Heritage site.

The hotel offers three restaurants, three bars, two swimming pools and our Talise Spa. The hotel is divided into eleven low-rise structures ensuring that visitors experience a truly exceptional and natural environment.

**About the Role**:
An opportunity has arisen for a Engineering Director position to join our Engineering Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

- Closely supervise all engineering personnel
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive preventative maintenance programme for hotel’s equipment ensuring keeping of proper records
- Co-ordinating and, if requested, supervising projects and outside contractors
- Assuming responsibility for the cost-effective operation of the department
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual revised budget with the financial controller and management
- Establishing an efficient system for the control and verification of all deliveries to the premises pertaining to the department’s operation
- Complying with local legislation and acting in accordance with any union agreement relating to the maintenance department

**About you**:
**Qualification & Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years work experience in Engineering in a Hotel.
- Minimum 5years experience in civil works and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing
- Bachelor of engineering

**Skills**
- Motivated and Organized
- Able to multitask.
- Excellent level of Spanish and English.
- Excellent organizational and team management skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead a team and manage conflict.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and pertinent hotel information and convey the same sense of confidentiality to all employees.
