**At Berry, we are currently seeking a Marketing Communications & Design Intern to join our Marketing team for 6 months (with possibility to extend for 6 months based on performance), based at our Barcelona HQ - which is right in the heart of the city**

**The Marketing Communications & Design Intern is responsible for supporting the Marketing Communications plans for all businesses within the Specialties business segment in EMEIA. Within these fields of expertise, the Marketing Communications & Design Intern provides support in creation of new marketing collateral, development of marketing campaigns and long-term MarComms initiatives.**

Qualifications:

- Job involves some travel (overnight and internationally) up to 10% of the time.
- English (both verbal and written), others languages (such as Spanish or French) are a plus.
- Studying or having graduated a related Marketing Communications degree - this is an internship.
- Understanding of marketing communication campaigns, strategies and activities, and ability to implement them - a strategic and creative mindset.
- Good storytelling and graphic design skills are required (Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Canva, PWP. Ability to create engaging, creative and effective communication pieces and graphics across multiple channels and target audiences, to ensure consistent brand voice, and visual identity.
- Proactive profile who enjoys working in a fast-paced, multinational environment autonomously and as part of a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support in the implementation of marketing communication plans, and the ideation and development of marketing campaigns and projects - including the creation of engaging written, graphic and video content as well as physical promotional materials.
- Coordination of PR, advertising, digital campaigns and creative projects with our external agencies.
- Responsible for briefing and crafting new marketing collateral in collaboration with our creative agency to support the sales teams and customers, including; product leaflets, brochures, presentations, adverts and sample packs
- Support in new product launches:

- Preparation of the marketing launch packs
- Development of the marketing campaigns
- Support in the preparation and development of tradeshows and events - including supporting with the booth design in collaboration with our creative agencies.
- Implementation of the social media strategy - support with the creation of the social media content plan and its execution.
- Support with tracking and reporting on the different marketing campaigns and activities - and offer insight into areas of improvement.
- Control and continuous update of the different websites and distributor portals, as well as the internal database of marketing collaterals.
- Support the Marketing Communication team with daily tasks, such as: tracking spend, maintaining websites, shipments, etc
