**Job Summary**:
**JOb Responsibilities**:

- Represent UPL at Industry Associations,
- Defend UPL key assets,
- Maintain strategic relations with EU/global stakeholders in priority areas such as; government, media, agricultural industry, academia and public associations.

**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Overall, 7-10 years public and government affairs experience working in either government, agro/bio chemicals or consultancy. Experience of working on bio-solutions and carbon sequestration would be welcomed but not essential.
- Preferably an advanced degree in agriculture science/s business/marketing/communications/public affairs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with people from various disciplines and geographies to analyse and solve complex problems.
- Awareness and working experience of crop protection industry and associated regulations.
- Good network with the regulatory authorities/ government agencies across Europe
- Impeccable public speaking and presentations skills (conferences, seminars etc)
- Excellent communication of written/spoken English and ideally one other European language.
