Product Owner for an EdTech & AI Start-up based in Barcelona

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Product Owner with expertise in the fields of Ed-Tech, E-Learning, and AI.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of educational technology products.

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving product strategy, managing product development, and ensuring successful delivery to our customers.

Product Owner Responsibilities:
**1. Product Strategy and Planning**:

- Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for our Ed-Tech products.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features.
- Develop and maintain a product backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

**2. Product Development and Execution**:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and content to deliver high-quality products.
- Break down complex features into actionable tasks and coordinate their execution.
- Conduct regular scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure efficient product development.
- Track and analyze product metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure that the products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

**3. Stakeholder Management**:

- Engage with customers, educators, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and gather feedback.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support product launches.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase product capabilities and benefits.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the Ed-Tech, E-Learning, or AI industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and product management frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven decisions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Education Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certification in Agile product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
- Experience with user-centered design and conducting user research.
