**About the role**:
As a junior Piping Engineer in the Technical Office based in Sevilla, your role will be vital in supporting the mechanical and piping engineering activities, including potential collaboration with external contractors. Maintaining continuous cooperation with the technical teams in Norway, the UK, and Spain is crucial. Your main objective as a junior Piping Engineer is to ensure that all engineering designs meet the following criteria:
(i) Compliance with relevant design codes, standards, regulations, and procedures such as ASME PVBC, ASME B, PED 2014/68/EU, EN, and others. (ii) Adherence to client-specific requirements. (iii) Alignment with the technical specifications outlined in the ABC documentation.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Mechanical Piping Engineer based your role within the Engineering Department in Sevilla will involve the following responsibilities:

- Design and develop 3D models using AutoCAD 3D, focusing on project layouts encompassing piping, pipe supports, and cable routing.
- Collaborate with senior design engineers to create detailed drawings across various engineering disciplines.
- Prepare or oversee the development of essential engineering deliverables, including technical specifications for steel structures, piping, pipe supports, fittings, and the preparation of bills of quantities and MTO (Material Take-Off).
- Review and evaluate engineering deliverables, compile technical tabulations, and release drawings for procurement or manufacturing purposes.
- Work closely with the mechanical installation leader and project subcontractors to address any interferences that may arise, occasionally visiting installation sites.
- Collaborate and interface with other engineering disciplines to ensure designs can be approved for manufacturing or purchase.
- Support Project Execution Teams by facilitating communication with suppliers and subcontractors involved in electrical installation, commissioning, or maintenance works.

**Required skills & experience**:

- Holds a master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, specializing in Industrial, Chemical, Energy, Design, or a related field.
- Has a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in engineering activities, preferably in power plants, oil & gas, or pharmaceutical projects.
- Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD 2D/3D, Plant 3D, and Inventor would be highly advantageous.
- Possesses a background in designing and calculating steel structures and/or pipe stress analysis, which would be beneficial.
- Previous knowledge or experience in molten salts and high-temperature services, as well as mechanical installation activities, would be an advantage.
- Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, self-motivation, and a genuine passion for the field.
- Exhibits excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a high level of proficiency in English.
