About the role

The Director Strategic Accounts & Opportunities is responsible for leading, developing and growing the business from Intrum’s largest strategic clients across large servicing markets. This is done through close cooperation with Managing Directors, Commercial directors and various other key stakeholders both locally and globally. You will have a central role in supporting Intrum’s organic growth, by taking ownership of our Strategic Accounts, Strategic Opportunities and the Banking & Financial Services industry vertical.

The role will report to Managing Director, CMS Sales & Service Development and Markets.

Your key responsibilities will be
- Drive sustainable organic growth by supporting and leading new strategic client opportunities within the European Bank & Financial industry
- Expanding and continuing the development and roll out of Intrums strategic accounts concept.
- Contribute, and proactively drive strategic opportunities cross the European bank & financial institution footprint. This includes negotiations with major prospective client opportunities, in co-operation with the local teams and other internal stakeholders
- Provide Market insight and management data to a broad audience through the Banking & Financial Services vertical
- Contribute to the further development of the CMS Sales & Service Development Management Team
- Lead directly and indirectly and Inspire people at all levels within the global organization to establish sense of urgency of growth through the area of responsibility

We think you have
- A relevant university degree, preferably a master’s degree
- 10+ years from senior commercial leadership roles, preferably from an international company
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral in English
- Experienced with stakeholder management with internal and external stakeholders on C-level
- Proven ability in delivering business targets, while demonstrating sound judgement and managing competing priorities
- Strong industry knowledge within financial services, coupled with an extensive network across verticals
