- EMEA Structured Finance is currently seeking a Credit Analyst / Senior Analyst / Associate Director based out of our Madrid office.
- Fitch’s European Structured Finance (SF) team maintains and assigns ratings to SF transactions across four main asset classes: Asset Backed Securities, Residential Mortgage Backed Securities, Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities and Structured Credit. The team currently maintains surveillance on over 1,500 European SF transactions.
- Furthermore, the Covered Bonds (CvB) team maintains about 100 public ratings mainly in Europe, but also in Americas and Asia-Pacific. The Madrid-based SF & CvB team comprises currently eleven analysts and it is responsible for assigning and maintaining ratings on approximately 130 Iberian transactions, and interacts with members of other EMEA offices (especially London) to rate European CLO transactions.

**What We Offer**:

- We are currently seeking either an Analyst, Senior Analyst or Associate Director to join the Madrid SF & CvB team.
- The team analyses transactions in line with Fitch’s rating criteria and provides high quality credit opinions to investors and other market participants.

**We’ll Count on You To**:

- Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modelling.
- Reviewing transaction legal documents.
- On-site review of underwriting and servicing of transaction originators and managers.
- Preparing rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committees.
- Communicating rating rationale to investors and other market participants through presale reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Communicating with transaction arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics and structural features of the transactions.
- Assist in the development of criteria and supporting research.

**What You Need to Have**:

- Knowledge of securitisation structures would be beneficial.
