Position Purpose:
- To perform a wide variety of records keeping and payroll processing activities, including computing wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions and processing terminations;- To control and organize the outputs and work of assigned team from a Payroll work perspective as well as an HR control perspective.- To participate in the training of new joiners assigned to the team under the supervision and management of more experienced PS
Main responsibilities (not exhaustive or limited to):
Tasks as Payroll Specialist itself- End to end processing of company payrolls for the Payroll they have ( optional and only small volume)
Team leader tasks- Control of the outputs of payroll production teammates such as GTN, reports, payroll set up, bank files, variables- Help teammates in their works if they need guidance and report to upper manager if process needs to be improved, changed and teammates face undue trouble in their daily tasks- Manage client communication from a Payroll Operations perspective, set up at LM level solutions, corrections, optimization plan to correct mistakes, payroll wrong mappings or set ups- Control team Kpis, reporting works and manage tickets escalations- Organise team work and validate working hours, holidays as First validator before level 2 manager- Lead and manage payroll, transformational projects for your team under Ops payroll manager guidance
Training tasks- Under guidance of its Manager Train new joiners on existing accounts from a legal payroll perspective and act as first tutor in their interactions with team and payroll production
