ALANTRA is a global investment banking, asset management and portfolio advisory firm focusing on the mid-market with offices in 22 countries across Europe, the US, Latin America and Asia. Its Investment Banking division employs over 300 professionals, providing independent advice on M&A, debt advisory, financial restructuring, and capital markets transactions. In Asset Management, Alantra offers its clients unique access to a wide range of investment strategies (direct investments, fund of funds, co-investments and secondaries) in six highly specialized asset management classes (private equity, active funds, private debt, infrastructure, real estate and venture capital) as well as private wealth management services. Alantra’s portfolio advisory team is the leading portfolio advisory unit in Europe, with over 160 seasoned professionals across the UK, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Portugal and Greece dedicated to transaction execution, structuring, pricing, modelling and data enhancement in relation to credit portfolios and banking platform.

Currently we are looking for a vice president who would join Alantra´s Solar investment team. The professional will be fully involved in the day-to-day operations of the fund including:

- Supervising the analysts-team in supporting the equity and debt-raising activities.
- Lead the different execution stages: structuring, Due Diligence coordination, clients’ negotiation, review of legal documentation.
- Experience in leading the execution team, preparing investment memos and presenting investments to the investment committee. Boards etc...

**Requirements**:

- BBA in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering or similar. MBA is valuable.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in credit funds, private equity, hedge funds, debt advisory or M&A.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) and ideally a third language (preferably German, French, Italian or Portuguese).
- International experience in other country is highly valuable.
- Strong interest in the financing and debt markets.
- Strong academic background and financial knowledge (including accounting, financial statement analysis and valuation).
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to contribute with your own ideas.
- Proficiency in the use of Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook.
- Capable of working under pressure and in a context of shifting priorities.
- Impeccable communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Committed, driven and with capacity to show initiative.
- Attention to detail.
