Esg/sustainability Consultant

Ramboll invites you to bring your experience in ESG and sustainability, as you join our thriving and dynamic ESG transactions and strategy advisory team, working on international projects for a wide range of financial, corporate, industrial and legal clients. You will be working in collaboration with Ramboll’s ecosystems services, impact assessment, site solutions and strategic sustainability consulting across Europe, the US and APAC.

**You will join our ESG and sustainability team within our Compliance, Sustainability and Transactions (CST) Department**

Your key development opportunities and responsibilities will be:

- Supporting clients with creating ESG/responsible investment strategies including writing policies, charters, manuals, guidance documents, technical requirements document, design and implement ESG management systems, data collection and reporting processes, and in integrating and implementing the strategy.
- Supporting clients in conducting ESG materiality assessments, baselines and benchmarking.
- Supporting clients in aligning business strategy to ESG requirements and integrating ESG requirements into business functions and operations including investment life cycle for PE clients.
- Undertaking ESG due diligence assessments to support national and international business or asset transactions including industrial and manufacturing site visits as needed, participating in direct discussions with client/target ESG responsible persons, and writing focused reports assessing ESG performance, risks, liabilities and value creation opportunities, and presenting the results to our clients.
- Supporting Private Equity clients with ESG engagement with their portfolio companies including ESG data collection, data reviews, preparing value-creation plans, and engaging with companies on material ESG/sustainability topics.
- Tracking fund/portfolio level ESG data and preparing ESG performance reports
- Researching ESG/sustainability related topics research, including technical and non-technical topics such as new ESG-relevant regulations, standards, market trends, new developments, sector-specific ESG trends etc.
- Supporting clients in designing and implementing programs related to specific ESG topics such as GHG footprint, energy management, water, waste, biodiversity, packaging, circular economy, pollution prevention and reduction.
- Preparing annual ESG reports, ESG impact reports, and ESG regulatory reports.
