Purpose of the role
- Manage risk effectively and consistently across all areas of business.
- Manage risk dependencies between different areas to ensure appropriate investment decisions are taken to mitigate key risks
- Aligned Risk Analyst for an agreed list Risk Champions, working with each Risk Champion to develop and maintain a risk register detailing all risks and their associated treatments in each area.
- Governance of risk management process for an agreed set of Risk Champion areas, to include the preparation for a monthly Risk Champion Review, chairing the Risk Champion Review meeting, publishing the minutes/actions and following up all agreed actions through to their completion.
- Continuous improvement and maturity of the Risk Management Operating Model

You will make an impact in this role by
- Ensuring all identified risks have clear events, causes and consequences and are written in line with the agreed risk quality guidelines.
- Ensuring all risks have an agreed priority including the risk impact and likelihood of occurring within the next 24 months.
- Ensuring all risks have clear ownership and that all risk data measures meet the agreed quality metrics.
- Ensuring all risks have treatments in place and on completion of a treatment the likelihood and impact of the risk is re-assessed
- Working closely with Enterprise Risk Management function to ensure that enterprise risks are accurately reflected within the champion area risks
- Working closely with Cyber Security to provide consistent reporting of risk between Cyber and risk champion areas
- Working collaboratively with all other Risk Analysts, to ensure consistency in the implementation of the Risk Management Operating Model
- active participanting in the development and maturity of the overall Office of the CIO and Transformation function
- Working closely with other members of the Office of the CIO & Transformation function to ensure the smooth operation of the Office of the CIO function
- Delivering on a number of risk management processes, and across Risk Champion areas, the breadth and complexity of which will vary depending on experience.
- This role may require travel and working from multiple sites/locations. Willing and able to travel to participate in meetings, workshops, and other related activities

To achieve in this role, you are likely to have:

- Experience of successfully completing and influencing complex analytical risk assignments, ideally within a technology environment.
- Strong risk analysis experience and expertise
- Proven track record of contributing to best practice guidance on risk modelling and analysis.
- Experience of working in a transformation environment
- Experience of operating across multiple countries and cultures is desirable, but not essential.
- Fluent English & Spanish
