**Role/Responsibilities**:
- Work with other team members to address software developer’s needs and wants
- Responsible for product set-up, installation, updates, and managing systems in the cloud (AWS and Azure)
- Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks
- Responsible for the security of the data ensuring the security policies mandated by regulatory bodies and internal standards are maintained
- Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches
- Provide support to users of the CI/CD pipelines.
Required:
- 5+ years of related work experience working in high-performance or distributed systems
- Direct experience across a variety of AWS cloud infrastructure disciplines, preferably global scale
- Strong experience with generating and producing architecture designs and solutions for building and maintaining cost-efficient, scalable, and secure cloud environments
- Proven experience managing cloud and production environments
- Proven experience building Terraform scripts
- Proven experience with serverless computing and configuration
- Proficient in Git, software development, and programming languages like Python
- Proven experience working on Linux and Windows-based infrastructure
- Configuration and managing databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, Mongo
- Excellent troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
- A University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, or equivalent experience is an asset
- Strong communication skills - Fluency in written and spoken English
- Customer service mindset: monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
- Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
- Mentoring and guiding team members
Plus but not required:
- AWS or another cloud provider certification
- RPA certification: Blue Prism, UIPath, or Automation Anywhere
- Experience working with Jira or Azure DevOps
- Experience managing/configuring systems like: SIEM, Active Directory, and Vulnerabilities Scanner
- Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools and building CI/CD pipelines
