**About the role**

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be based in our Spanish office in Madrid. Sitting within the Data & BI team, you’ll be building reports or statistical models, and presenting it to your main stakeholders. As such, you use both your superb analytical and communication skills in transmitting your passion for data to the rest of the departments.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- You explore and define the data needs of a diverse set of stakeholders and help JE´s teams to make the right business decisions and continuously improve their processes
- You design and develop metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business to improve performance
- Design measurable metrics and KPIs according to the business of stakeholders, and develop reports using Business Intelligence tools and languages such as Tableau, Google Big Query and Python, so that stakeholders can regularly keep track of their achievement and know where they are right now
- Build / Improve SQL queries in a data warehouse to prepare data and analyse data
- You conduct deep-dive data analysis for business insights and recommendation
- You will be performing checks and data cleaning to ensure the data integrity
- Proactively propose business action which is taken out from data to stakeholders, so that they can take an innovative approach to efficiently and effectively improve their business

**What we need from you**:

- 8+ years of working experience in a similar role
- Ability to write complex SQL, doing cohort analysis, comparative analysis, etc.
- Advanced data visualisation skills using Tableau
- Advanced knowledge Business Intelligence tools especially Tableau, and at least good knowledge of another data analytics tool like R, Python, SPSS, SAS etc.
- Advanced knowledge of Google analytics
- Ability to do in depth analyses
- Experience working directly with business users to build reports, dashboards and solving business questions with data
- Understanding of Data Warehouse modelling in redshift and Bigquery
- Ability to lead your own projects and work independently once given a direction
- Experience in E-Commerce, Salesforce is highly rated.
- It will be highly valued previous experience working with tech and product teams
- Native Spanish speaker with a high level in English in both writing and speaking
