**Role Overview**
As a Chargehand, you will support the Foreman in overseeing the installation and testing of Cat6, Cat6A, and Fibre Optic cabling across a variety of operational settings. You will assist in guiding your team to ensure that all work is completed safely, to a high standard, and in line with project schedules and budget expectations. At CET Connect Ltd, we place a strong emphasis on flexibility, professionalism, and a committed work ethic. You will be expected to uphold these values while working closely with the Foreman to ensure project goals and client expectations are consistently met. There may be a requirement to attend a full pre-employment medical in some countries across Europe. This will be carried out during the recruitment process.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support the Foreman with overseeing the day-to-day work of Technicians on the site to ensure a high standard of installation.
- Interpret technical drawings and method statements to plan and execute the team’s work effectively
- Ensure the team is in full compliance with Health and Safety standards and all site protocols
- Provide On-the-Job training for Technicians as required
- Provide hands on support for the installation and testing of structured cabling when needed
- Monitor all activity under your care and escalate any out-of-scope activity to Management
**Essential Requirements**:
- Right to Work in the EU is essential: Must have an EU passport.
- Willingness to travel across the EU as required.
- Experience in a Chargehand/Team Lead role on structured cabling projects, including large scale Cat6, Cat6A, and/or fibre installations
- Must have a current Safe Pass
- Pre-employment medical may be required.
- Certification in Working at Heights, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) or Hoist Operator training are an advantage but not essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead your team and provide training when required
