**About us**

Hello We are Samara, the solar installation startup that goes beyond self-consumption. We are here to accelerate the energy transition of households towards a more efficient, smarter and more sustainable model.

We are a high-growth startup that, above all, prioritizes people and the planet. We've just raised a €9 million financing round led by technology and sustainability-focused european funds. This capital increase will help us to continue our growth path and develop new products and services, so our team is constantly growing. We are now looking to expand our Operations team.

In line with our values, at Samara we firmly believe that the climate crisis is the biggest challenge facing our generation. Housing, in particular, is one of the main sources of carbon emissions in developed countries.

We are optimistic by nature and think it is possible to do things differently: one that combines electrification, distributed generation, energy storage and software that enables more efficient energy management. As you can see, we have a lot of work ahead of us, are you in?

**What are you going to do?**

You will be part of the initial **Grants team**. These will be some of your duties:

- Management and justification of grants for residential solar projects.
- Delivery and management of documentation and communications with the different municipalities and institutions
- Creating strong links with the rest of the team ensures that Samara works as one team, giving visibility of problems and solutions.
- Work closely with our Energy Managers to ensure Samara customers get a best-in-class experience.
- support the entire company in matters related to Grants.
- Help build a single company-wide culture as we redefine the energy industry for good.
- Proactively investigate and implement new subsidies from all Autonomous Communities.
- Manage IBI rebates and tax deductions.

**What do you need? ️**
- **Organization**: you are an organized person, with a high ability to collaborate and pay attention to detail. You’re efficient and output-driven.
- **Problem-solving**: you are able to tackle challenges you have not seen before and independently research how to solve them
- **Accountability**: you enjoy making an opportunity your own and pursuing it to completion
- **Customer service**: you are passionate about dealing with customers, listening to them and helping them reduce their energy bills while caring for the planet.
- **You put people first**: you are in line with Samara's cultural values and put people first.
- **You are flexible**: startups always require iterations. We will make mistakes, but we learn quickly from them.
- **You adapt easily**: you feel like a fish in water working in a fast-paced environment and you manage uncertainty well.
- You can sign an internship agreement with your University
- You can work 30-40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, with flexibility according to your academic schedule) and start asap.
